yeah pretty good actually =] im doing a battery lol. its on a table thing and theres like what are meant to be giant light bulbs (or something of the kind) and electricity runs through them to a beam at the back of the stage and then awakens the battery on the table which will sring to life. will sway side to side then get zapped by the lightning (hopefully lol) and go back unconscious lol @_@
so we'll see how that goes lol XD

.ive got my key and lock underway, |awl. ben (that guy from our class) suggested | do a boolean operation with the key in the lock to get the key hole shape in the bottom. | might try that. Still up for goin into Pulp Fiction on Sat after I finish work? May get to the plaza around half past 2, or three. :D :hug:.

yeh that would work well (with making the key hole an exact fit =])

and yes i am most certainly up for it still ^_^ i wanna get something from shintokyo XD should really be saving my money but o well XD


o and i got the result from my assignemnt too -- stupid me is still in igh school grading so when i saw the C i was like shit, what did i do, then realised that it was a credit lol XD so that also means that for our first assignment we got credit's lol :P

Hey with our 3D project I can only get one of my curtains to sway and not the other. I dunno what I'm doing wrong. Help?

umm ok.
did u make the other curtain a soft body also?
are u making sure that you're selecting the particles, then high lighting all in the goalpp column? the bottom row should be .25, second, .5 and the the third .75....

ummm i dunno if that will help :P let me know if your still stuck.

haha now my question >.< i cant get the curtains to collide with the plane. like it goes all weird, as though one particle connects to the plane and stays there, being stretched, while the rest of the curtain does what its meant to be doing @_@

Thats k. Yes I did all that, carefully following the tut. I tried like 5 or 6 times. It appeared to work, but then when I followed along with the tutorial for adding control rigs and attributes for applying the squasing and stretching for the ball with the set driven keys, only one of the curtains would sway! Urk!!! They would both open and close, but only one would sway. Are you going to see Ruben on monday about it? I'm going to.

I also tried cacheing the particles, but it just slowed my whole animation down, and wouldn't let me go backwards properly, as the curtain would remain rigid while the other one just swayed. I checked the particles folder as well and it was just empty.

I'm so annoyed. I don't know how to fix it, or what I'm doing wrong! I followed the tutorials carefully. I was so close to getting it done as well!

My plane worked fine, its just one of the curtains refuses to sway, and the particles refuse to cache properly. I have a feeling I won't finish by Tuesday! Wah! T_T

I have no idea what could be causing that. Mine's stuffing up worse than yours! lolz. Did you try doing it again and recreating the plane?

haha yeh like god knows how many times lol >.< its so stupid how it just doesnt do as its meant to lol. i had heaps of trouble with the squashing and stretching part too, it looks pretty dodgy even now but o well it can be unique lol.
he'll prob jsut confuse us even more @_@ as he's not very easy to understand. are u gonna see him before the lecture? coz ill come with you too, i dont have time afterwards as i have to be at city west by 2 @_@. i've had to d/l premier too, but i dunno if it will work coz its a window folder so ill need to use my dad's laptop but yeh lol, its all gay :P
